My first open source contribution

I know that almost a year has passed since my last post. I haven’t had much luck breaking into the world of API docs (yet). I made a small breakthrough this week when Mautic called on me to be involved in a piece of work relating to their REST API docs. Mautic is an open source project I have kept in touch with since I decided not to apply for Google Season of Docs in 2020. More on that in a later post.

I have also just connected with the Open Food Facts project. I just edited their wiki’s How to Help page, improving the overall tone, reducing the clutter and making the overall writing more concise and cohesive. A small start, and nowhere near any code, but I’m proud of my achievement!
